I’ve lived my entire life in the South, so I’ve been through my fair share of tropical depressions, tropical storms, and hurricanes. For this challenge, I’m looking back on the storms that have impacted my life and some of the bigger more unforgettable storms.
Hurricane/Tropical Storm Kyle was an interesting storm as the fifth-longest-lived Atlantic tropical or subtropical cyclone on record. The storm started as a cold front off Bermuda and wandered around the Atlantic Ocean until it finally landed in the Carolinas dropping 6 inches of rain and causing urban flooding throughout four states.
