And just like that, spring has sprung in the Carolinas! It is so nice to see my flowers blooming instead of the trees. The trees are pretty, but pollen is no bueno! I spent half of the day on Friday doing yard work, including replacing my mulch, raking my leaves from fall (don’t judge), and clipping my hedges. Then I spent most of Saturday on the couch with a horrible backache. I am really starting to feel my age of 47. It did give me the opportunity to start on my Under the Sea Stitch-A-Long project. I am a few weeks behind, but I’ll be able to catch up by the end of the month. I’m also wrapping up my crocheted baby gift for my cousin’s baby. I’ll be shipping it next week, so I’ll be posting pics in the next couple of weeks. It turned out really cute!
Another big project I’ve been working on is turning my 2nd bedroom into a guest room/craft room/office. I started in February, and it isn’t going well. I am having a hard time getting rid of things. I think I’m just going to have to close my eyes and put stuff in the donation bin. My plan is to have it all set up by the end of the month. I really hope that happens, since I have a few dental issues to take care of that might put me out of commission for a few days. And Stranger Things is also starting at the end of the month. I’ll be binge watching that along with the final season of Grace and Frankie, which will help me with my crafting time.
